St. Hedwig's cathedral is located directly at the Bebelplatz in Berlin-Mitte. If you are planning to visit us by car, you can use public parkingsites or the underground parking site directly at the Bebelplatz.

Using public transport, you can choose between the underground lines U2 (stop ‘Hausvogteiplatz’), U6 (stop ‘Französische Strasse’), the bus lines 100 and 200 (stop ‘Staatsoper’) and the bus line 147 (stop ‘Werderscher Markt’).

Leaving the metro station Hausvogteiplatz, walking into the direction as the train heading for Pankow, please follow the street ‘Oberwallstrasse’, situated slightly left when leaving the station. Follow this street until you reach the ‘Französiche Strasse’. Turn left and follow this street up to the street ‘Hinter der Katholischen Kirche’ at your right hand side and you are right at the back of the Cathedral.

Leaving the metro station Französische Strasse , walking into the direction as the train heading for ‘Alt-Tegel’, take the street ‘Behrenstrasse’ at your right. After about 150 metres (500ft/160yd), you will reach the Cathedral.

Get off the bus at the stop ‘Staatsoper’ and walk in between the buildings of the ‘Staatsoper’ and the ‘Opernpalais’. After passing the ‘Staatsoper’, you will see the Cathedral right in front.

Get off the bus at ‘Werderscher Markt’ and follow the street until the street name changes to ‘Französische Strasse’. Keep on until you reach the street ‘Hinter der Katholischen Kirche’ at your right hand side and you will see the back of the Cathedral in front of you.

The Bernhard-Lichtenberg-Haus is situated directly at the back of the Cathedral.
